I am an anthropologist and Senior Research at the Department of Local and Regional Studies of the Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences. Using various methods and tools, such as ethnography, social networks analysis, photovoice, or GPS tracking, my research is focused on the comparative study of architecture/art/design and poverty, informality and city, and the temporal, spatial, and social dimensions of street culture. Between 2021 and 2024, I worked as Marie-SkÅ‚odowska Curie Research Fellow at the Georg-Simmel Center for Metropolitan Studies, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. I had held visiting positions at Columbia University (Fulbright-Masaryk Fellowship), Universidad del Rosario (UR Research Fellowship), Central European University (Junior Core Fellowship) and Harvard University (Marie-SkÅ‚odowska Curie Global Fellowship).
